Classification Of Computer -

                                    
                                Depending upon the capabilities and speed of  processing computers can be classified as-

1)Digital Computer -
                            
                         They are the computers that work on discrete data i.e. directly counting numbers, letters or symbols. These are commonly used for buisness applications.

2)Analog Computer -

                            These type of   computer works on continuous data measured along a continuous scale. Generally used in process like temperatures, measurement, medical purpose  etc.

3)Hybrid Computer -

                             Desirable qualities of both analog and digital computers are combined together to form what are called Hybrid computer.
